The Spirit of America…

Uncle Sam is the living embodiment of the Spirit of America. Born from the U.S. Revolution at Valley Forge, he has been the tireless protector of the United States. Sam did not start out as a mysticA term for one who is versed in the magical arts. spirit however, he was a regular soldier who was gunned down by Hessian soldiers.
As he lie there dying the spirit of freedom appeared to him and bonded to him and Uncle Sam was born.
As he lived through the ages, Uncle Sam was torn into two separate beings during the Civil WarWar comics feature military personnel fighting enemy troops. These comics are great adventure comics, but also very useful propaganda. (Billy Yank and Johnny Reb) and has experienced many changes in power levels due to the feeling of patriotism and freedom in the country at the time.
As the country entered a low ebb time during the Vietnam conflict Uncle Sam found himself almost jsut a spokesman with high levels of charisma as reluctant soldiers went off to fight a warWar comics feature military personnel fighting enemy troops.
