Secret Six

One Of Them… Is a Mockingbird….

The Secret Six are six individuals who have at one time or another all had a mysterious figure enter their lives to save them from death or imprisonment.  The only thing the six know is that this figure is called Mockingbird and that when Mockingbird calls, they must answer.

Dr. August Durant - Worked for the government in military weapons systems.  August claims that Mockingbird saved him after he was drugged by a foreign power.  Mockingbird gets August’s compliance by providing a medicine he needs every 24 hours or the slow acting poison in his system will reassert itself and kill him.

Carlo di Rienzi – Is an Italian stage magician who failed to make protection money payments to the Mafia.  His home was bombed killing his wife and crippling his son.  Mockingbird is providing treatment for the son, which could stop any time Carlo decides not to play the game.

Crimson Dawn – a British heiress who fell in love with a bad man after her father passed away.  Dawn’s fiancee swindled her out of her money and moved on to his next mark, reducing the proud Dawn to working the streets for money.  In a violent confrontation with a pimp, Dawn killed him with her martial arts skills.  She claims Mockingbird cleaned up her mess and got her out of Britain, but he could always notify the authorities of her crime.

King Savage – A Vietnam veteran, he was captured and tortured into revealing U.S. military secrets.  Mockingbird arranged a break out in which King was rescued.  Mockingbird knows that King talked and so King must perform as the group’s driver or he will be convicted of treason.

Lili de Neuve – is a French film star who was convicted of a murder she did not commit.  She was released via an alibi provided by Mockingbird.  Now working in the film industry behind the scenes as a make-up specialist and film producer, Lili must perform double duty else her alibi might be proven false to the right judge.

Mike Tempest/Tiger Force – A professional boxer who was ordered to take a dive by the Mob, instead he offered testimony against the Mob and paid the price.  Mockingbird found the badly beaten pugilist in a back alley and had him nursed back to health.  Creating the new identity, Mike was on the run from the Mob and Mockingbird could tip them to his location.

Unfortunately for this team, one of the six holds a big secret… one of them IS Mockingbird.

But which one?

How do you trust your other teammates when one of them is blackmailing you?  And how can you expect any of them to believe that you are not Mockingbird?

The Secret Six do mainly espionage work and it seems that they appear to have an agenda in line with the allied nations of N.A.T.O.
