The Ice Queen…

Imra Ardeen is one of the most talented telepaths on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, where all the inhabitants have some sort of mental powers.  Imra had been trained by her mentor Aden, and had passed the preliminary tests to become a Science Police Officer.

Imra boarded the same shuttle flight that contained Rokk Krinn and Garth Ranzz, as well as the richest man in the Universe, R.J. Brande.  When the shuttle landed in Metropolis, she picked up the thoughts of two assassins aiming for Mr. Brande.  She shouted for Mr. Brande to get down, but he was caught in the crossfire.  With Rokk’s magnetic ability and Garth’s electrical powers, the threat was neutralized and Mr. Brande was extremely grateful.

Mr. Brande decided to bankroll the three teens and they founded the Legion of Super-Heroes.  Imra served as the Legion’s second leader and was elected to serve two terms in a row.   She served consecutively until she married Lightning Lad when the pair left the Legion for a brief time.

Upon their return, Lightning Lad was elected leader and the two have proven that you can have a married couple in the Legion with little ill effects, though Imra has found herself in the midst of a love quadrangle between herself and Garth and Timber Wolf and Light Lass.

Powers

Mental Blasts – Imra can render someone helpless by overloading their brain with images, giving them an instant headache or causing them to go to sleep.

Mental Probe – Imra can find the information she needs even in hostile minds, however this process can be quite challenging if the target is schooled in mental defenses.

Mental Shield – Imra can hide her own thoughts or protect herself from mental attacks that directly affect her mind.

Resist – Imra can use her mental fortitude to resist any attempt to control her through mental commands.

Telepathy – Imra can communicate with others using her mind from great distances away.

Vulnerabilities

Imra is a normal humanoid woman and has no specific defenses unless she is being attacked via mental attack.

Police Procedures – As someone who studied to become a Science Police Officer, Imra knows the basics of how police perform their duties.

Equipment

Legion Flight Ring – All Legionnaires wear a ring which enables them to fly, communicate with each other across the distances of space, call for assistance, or locate other Legionnaires.

Legion Transuit – A transparent spacesuit that activates automatically in the event of a vacuum.
