Donning a busted up soup pot on her head, a pair of long johns, some of her husband’s athletic gear, and her dishwashing gloves, she took to the street and busted some heads as she fought to keep the neighborhood safe.

A pre-cursor to the neighborhood crime patrols or Guardian Angels of New York City, Ma stood by every day stopping crimes in her hamlet.   She was even invited to join the JSAAn abbreviation of Justice Society of America, but could not stay because she had ripped her costume in a sensitive area.
