Phantom Girl

The Untouchable Girl…

Tinya Wazzo is the daughter of a prominent family on the planet of Bgtzl, a planet which shares the same physical space as Earth, but exists in another dimension.  All Bgtzlians possess the ability to become immaterial in order to pass through solid objects.

Tinya won her early spot in the Legion’s roster by infiltrating the Legion’s headquarters and promising to secure the headquarters against other immaterial invaders.   One of her first recorded missions was to recruit Supergirl into the Legion.

After a while, Tinya developed a long standing romance with Legion bad boy, Ultra Boy, standing by him when others thought him a criminal or even when he was pronounced dead once.  She is also extremely close to Shadow Lass.

Tinya is a permanent member of the Legion’s Espionage Squad due to her powers natural infiltration abilities.

Powers

Dimensional Shift – Tinya can use her powers to go into the Phantom Zone.  She can also use this power in order to go back home to Bgtzl, but she rarely uses this form of her power, preferring to travel via shuttle.

Intangibility – Tinya can control her molecules so that she can pass through solid objects.   This makes her a valuable player on a battle field as she is essentially untouchable to most conventional forms of attack and can pass through most barriers and enemy protection devices.

Vulnerabilities

Tinya is a normal humanoid woman who has the same vulnerabilities as you or I while she is in solid form.

Extreme Temperature - Tinya has shown some vulnerability to cold temperatures while she is intangible.

Radiation – Tinya has shown vulnerability to radiation wavelengths even in her intangible state.

Skills

Martial Artist - Tinya has grown so accustomed to using her powers that unlike most Bgtzlians, she can phase most of her body and keep her hands and feet solid to use in hand-to-hand combat.

Equipment

Costume - Tinya wears a special costume that phases with her when she uses her power.

Legion Flight Ring – All Legionnaires wear a ring which enables them to fly, communicate with each other across the distances of space, call for assistance, or locate other Legionnaires.

Legion Transuit – A transparent spacesuit that activates automatically in the event of a vacuum.
