Orion

The God of Rage…

When Darkseid rose to the status of leader of Apokolips, Darkseid’s mother Hegga, made Darkseid get married to a woman named Tigra.  As a result of this union, came the son of Darkseid, Orion.  Once Darkseid became absolute leader of Apokolips he exiled his wife and son and that is where Tigra raised her son in relative peace, until Darkseid sent for the son as part of a peace pact with Highfather.

Exchanging their sons, Scott Free went to Apokolips, while Orion went to New Genesis.

Orion came to New Genesis and learned in the ways of peace and benevolence at the hands of Highfather.  As Orion matured his inner breeding began to show more and more as Darkseid’s genes began to twist the facial features of Orion so much that he took to wearing a full metal helm to keep from frightening others.  He also began to suffer from rages that made him prone to fighting, luckily, Orion’s Mother Box keeps his rage under control most of the time.

As Darkseid began to renew aggression to New Genesis, Orion became the leader of the New Genesis troops fighting him.  As he was separated from his father at a very early age, Orion only discovers that Darkseid is his father in this conflict, but this only fuels his rage to fight the evil of his father.

Astroglider - The transportation device of Orion offers many advantages.
