The Elements of Teamwork…

Dr. Will Magnus is one of the leading robotics scientists on the planet and when his friends were killed in a lab accident, Dr. Magnus decided they would not die after all. Using his invention called a Responsometer he was able to put his friend’s personalities into robots and the Metal Men were born.
Gold is the natural leader of the group, Iron is the strong man, Lead is the protector, Mercury is the only metal that is liquid at room temperature (a fact that he always boasts in an adventure), Platinum (Tina) is the sexy girl of the group who is in love with Dr. Magnus, and Tin is the faltering one with the really brave heart.
The Metal Men frequently get so damaged that they “die” but Dr. Magnus is always around to make repairs to his friends and keep them in the fight.
