H – E – R – O

The “H” Dial, possibly one of the quirkiest and most powerful weapons in the DCUniverse. The finder of the H-Dial must dial the letters “H”,”E”,”R”,”O” and once this is done the person who dialed those letters in that order becomes a superhero.
The first finder of the “H” Dial was Robby Reed, pictured above. Robby had accidentally been the witness of a crime and the offending criminals decided it would be easy to throw Robby off a cliff in order to kill him. Robby fell into a cave and somehow survived his fall. Here Robby found a lot of alienA character who was not born on the planet Earth. writings and the “H” Dial.
Robby set off on a spree of assisting his local area by becoming a heroA character that typically acts in a heroic manner. (Example: Wonder Woman €™s deeds of saving Paradise Island from the mythological beasts have made her an Amazonian hero.) when the time was right. Frequently he would dial other words as well to experiment with the dial further. When he dialed “S-P-L-I-T” however, he was transformed into his good side and his evil side. A battle began between the two super powered Robby entities. The good side won out and realized that the “H” Dial was too much power to wield and so his last act was to get rid of the “H” Dial and then erase his own memories..
Moving into the future, Robby Reed had moved away and the King familyMeant to denote a group of characters that are all interrelated or share the same origins, methodology, or powers. (Example: All Members of the Green Lantern Corps belong to €œthe Lantern family €) moved in. Their son Chris soon met a local girl Vicki and they became fast friends. One day while exploring the attic the pair found, hidden in a trunk were two small “H” Dials left behind by the “good” side of Robby Reed. On these dials existed only the four letters that would enable them to transform into heroes. ”H”, “E”, “R”, “O”.
Feeling the energies of two new dials being used the good and evil entities of Robby Reed appeared to fight over the dials. Together Chris, Vicki, and the good side of Robby Reed defeated the evil entity and merged the good and evil sides together and Robby Reed was whole again.
Now, the trio all have their “H” Dials and serve as occasional heroes when needed.
