Gone, Gone The Form of Man…..

Jason Blood served as a guard in King Arthur’s Camelot.  Jason however true and valiant he was, was swayed by the romantic advances of Arthur’s half-sister, the evil Morgaine Le Fay.  Morgaine tempted Jason into betraying Arthur so that she could have Arthur overthrown and put her own son, Mordred on the throne.

When Jason did the villainous deed and was rebuffed by Morgaine in his reward, Merlin, the last standing member of the Camelot court bonded Jason’s body to that of the spirit of a demon.  For his penance, Jason must now live forever, always on the edges, standing between good and evil and using a tool of evil for good.

Ever vigilant to not fall into further danger for his eternal life, Jason set about a many centuries quest to find the eternal Morgaine Le Fay and Mordred to bring then to justice.

Powers

Claws and Maw – Etrigan’s front hands are covered with claws that he can use to rake an opponent and his mouth contains massive fangs which he will use to bite an opponent.

Hellfire Breath – Etrigan can breathe a hellish plume of fire from his mouth to devastating effect.

Intimidating Visage  - Etrigan’s appearance is very disheartening to those of weak constitutions.

Insta-Change – When Jason Blood transforms into Etrigan, he does it by reciting the poem:

“Change! Change! Transmogrify! Free the might from fleshy mire!  Gone, gone the form of man!  Rise the Demon Etrigan!”

Sorcery – Etrigan can cast some limited spells as well, usually speaking in rhymes.  Jason Blood also possesses mystic sorcerers abilities those these seem to be of a more defensive than offensive nature.

Super-Agility – Etrigan the Demon is very difficult to hit in battle possessing lightning like reflexes.

Super-Strength – Etrigan the Demon is extremely strong.

Vulnerabilities

Etrigan is a demonic figure so he is limited in his interactions with strong willed individual of a pure nature.  He cannot set foot on holy ground and can be exorcised by someone of strong faith or who casts the banishment spell.

Alter-Ego – Jason Blood is always on the guard should Etrigan win the battle for his eternal soul.

History – Camelot – Being an ex-member of the Court of Camelot, Jason Blood is very familiar with the ancient tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

Knowledge – Hell - Etrigan is a member of the society of perdition and is well acquainted with its geography and culture.

Occultist - Jason Blood is a well known demonologist and is aware of all the mystic arts.
