The Beautiful Bounty Hunter….

Dawnstar is an Amerind, an offshoot race of Earthlings who went out into space and founded the Starhaven colony.  It is unclear when these Earthlings evolved into winged beings, however all of the Amerinds possess wings and use them to explore space.

Dawny as she is known came to the attention of Wildfire and R.J. Brande as she was working as a professional bounty hunter.  After being convinced to join the Legion Academy, Dawnstar excelled in her studies and wound up joining the Legion showing that her tracking powers would be a great asset to the Legion.

Almost immediately, Dawny found herself in a relationship with Wildfire that burns hot and heavy off and on.

Powers

Flight – Dawny can fly at supersonic speeds, easily keeping up with Superboy, Mon-El, Ultra Boy, and Wildfire.  In fact, she often outraces them.

Survivor – Dawny can survive the rigors of a vacuum of outer space without the use of any protective devices.

Tracker – Dawny’s main gift is that she can track anyone, anywhere in the known universe.  Easily traversing distances across galaxies, for some reason Dawny’s power lessens when she is on a planet.

Vulnerabilities

Except for her invulnerability to the vacuum of space and all its effect, Dawnstar is a normal humanoid female.

Claustrophobia – Dawny is not stricken by panic, but does not like tight, enclosed spaces.

Equipment

Legion Flight Ring – All Legionnaires wear a ring which enables them to fly, communicate with each other across the distances of space, call for assistance, or locate other Legionnaires.

Legion Transuit – A transparent spacesuit that activates automatically in the event of a vacuum.
