The Mutant in Outer Space…

Adam Blake is a mutant born many years before humankind naturally develops higher and more sophisticated brains. When Adam was born it was the same time that a comet was seen going through the atmosphere. This comet emitted a type of radiation that accelerated Adam’s brain cells which then began to quadruple in efficiency and dividing into four lobes.
As he went on through childhood it was clear Adam was unlike any other child around. He began to develop his strange powersThe extraordinary abilities that a characterAny sentient entity that appears in a comic book. (Example: Superman, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Krypto the Super Dog are all characters that appear in Superman comics). may possess. (Example: Aquaman can telepathically control marine life as one of his powers.) and began to feel more and more like a stranger among normal people. The far off worlds called and he answered heading off for many adventures but never forgetting Earth he returned from time to time, most notably a long period in which he spent time fighting the Secret Society of Super-Villains.
While at first reluctant to be revealed as a “heroA character that typically acts in a heroic manner. (Example: Wonder Woman €™s deeds of saving Paradise Island from the mythological beasts have made her an Amazonian hero.)” Adam found a costume and became Captain Comet to try to keep his identity and his origins secret.
Captain Comet can be found both planet side and in outer space just depending upon where the mood strikes him, however, wherever he is, he fights for justice.
